Corporate Central Again Part of ‘Flag Football Extravaganza’ to Benefit Special Olympics

MILWAUKEE, Wis.–For the third year in a row, Corporate Central said it is partnering with Special Olympics Wisconsin to bring credit unions together as part of the “Titletown Showdown.” The showdown is a “flag football extravaganza” that challenges credit unions to form flag football teams and compete against one another to raise money for Special Olympics Wisconsin.

The event will be held Oct. 19 at City Stadium in Green Bay, Wis.

“This is truly a fantastic event,” said Chris Felton, president/CEO of Corporate Central. “We are excited to share this opportunity with credit union employees, friends and families, and Special Olympics Wisconsin staff and athletes.”

Teams may consist of 6 to 15 players, including credit union staff, credit union members, friends, or family members, but each player must be at least 18 years of age.

Volunteers for the event are also being sought.

Prizes will be given to teams that win different categories, such as best dressed or best sportsmanship, and incentives will be offered for fundraising efforts.
