PLEASANT VALLEY, Md. – PDP Group, Inc. has been endorsed by the Carolinas Credit Union League as the exclusive electronic lien and titling (ELT) service provider in North Carolina, eight months ahead of ELT becoming mandatory in the state on January 1, 2016.
According to PDP Group, its SimplyELT service allows credit unions to manage automobile titles and other documents electronically within the state. The program provides clients with electronic access to their titles without involvement of lender or dealer personnel, department of motor vehicles staff, or an auto buyer. Electronic services also eliminate fraud as the system reduces manual processing.
SimplyELT is presently available in all 19 states that offer ELT. North Carolina will become the tenth state that has moved to mandatory electronic titling.
