SANTA ROSA, Calif.– CUneXus Solutions, a provider of omni-channel, application-free lending technology, provided a sneak preview of its new AutoXpress solution, which allows consumers to purchase a new or used car from their desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones using pre-approved financing from their credit union. The new product was demonstrated at the Bank Administration Institute (BAI)’s annual Payments Connect conference, “Harnessing the Power of Disruption."
“The positive feedback we’ve received from lenders, consumers and dealers has been tremendous,” said Dave Buerger, co-founder, and CEO of CUneXus. “AutoXpress removes some of the biggest obstacles to buying a car—a trip to the lender, loan applications, and haggling over price.”
The AutoXpress package enables a complete end-to-end auto purchasing experience within the lender’s existing online and mobile banking platforms. Buyers can browse local dealership inventory in real-time, view pre-negotiated pricing, select from pre-approved loan options, review payment scenarios, and complete their vehicle purchase from anywhere with just a few clicks.
CUneXus developed the AutoXpress solution in collaboration with Edmunds.com, the leading car shopping and information network. The companies announced their partnership in January 2016 and AutoXpress is the first joint project to be delivered. The solution combines CUneXus’ comprehensive pre-screened lending technology (cplXpress)—which uses the customer’s credit profile and the lender’s credit criteria to deliver a pre-approved loan—with Edmunds’ True Market Value® (TMV®) prices, car shopping research tools, and PricePromiseSM pre-negotiated auto pricing.
The company will announce additional AutoXpress features and capabilities at the renowned Finovate conference in San Jose, May 10-11.
