CUES to Host New CEO Institute: FinTech in 2023

MADISON, Wis.— CUES has announced a new CEO Institute: FinTech, which it said will give credit unions the opportunity to learn, embrace and take advantage of the advances brought about by fintech.

“Fintech has caused extraordinary challenges and upheaval in the financial sector, but it’s also opened many opportunities for growth and innovation,” said Christopher Stevenson, SVP/chief learning officer. “Now’s the time for financial institutions to embrace all fintech can do, and CEO Institute: FinTech will help them manage and deal with disruptions and quickly turn challenges into growth opportunities.”

According to CUES, attendees at CEO Institute: FinTech  will:

  • Deepen their understanding of advanced fintech concepts such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, machine learning and consumer analytics
  • Learn smart ways to apply these concepts to their credit union’s operations
  • Explore the competitive landscape, including how to best compete with other financial institutions and platforms

Standalone Offering

CUES said CEO Institute: FinTech is a stand-alone offering for executives; attendance at CUES’ CEO Institute I, II, or III is not a prerequisite.

CUES added that participants will benefit from a unique mix of blended learning offered by our partners at Cornell SC Johnson College of Business and eCornell, including digital self-paced learning, a live-taught online class, and in-person class happening at Cornell Tech’s campus on Roosevelt Island in New York City, April 17-20, 2023.

‘Far Beyond’

“CEO Institute: FinTech goes far beyond what you’d find at a typical conference presented by industry insiders; instead, the curriculum was designed to deepen participant’s understanding and stretch their thinking,” said Stevenson. “We partnered with Cornell because their philosophy is to fuse technology with business and creative thinking, bringing faculty and students together in a catalytic environment meant to produce visionary ideas, making them a perfect partner for this offering.”
