CUES Intro's DEI Resource Center

MADISON, Wis.— Saying it is following up on its commitment to support the credit union community in creating diverse and inclusive work environments, CUES has announced the release of a new online DEI Resource Center.

“Last June, on the heels of social unrest sparked by the murder of George Floyd, many business leaders made commitments to fight against racial and social injustice and improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in their organizations,” said John Pembroke, CUES’ president/CEO. “For our part, CUES immediately made our existing DEI resources available to the industry. At that time, we also made a commitment to build upon these tools. The new DEI Resource Center is one result of that promise.”

According to CUES, the DEI Resource Center consolidates all its offerings, courses, and resources in one place for both members and non-members. It includes:

  • Digital Learning & Content, featuring content available to everyone, and online courses and links to pathways within CUES Learning Portal for CUES members
  • Resources & Tools, offering easy access to CUES Learning Portal and CUES Consulting, which can help credit unions evaluate their current environment and custom-create development programs
  • Partners & Programs—easily connect with CUES equity and diversity partners

‘Keeping the Promises’

“We’re pleased to offer these resources so industry leaders who have committed to DEI at their credit unions can work on keeping their promises,” said Pembroke. “But we know there is more to be done. We will continue to add new offerings, and enhance the resource center accordingly.”
