LAKEWOOD, Colo.–CU Service Network here said that Kearny, Ariz.-based Ray FCU has signed contracts for back office accounting assistance. The service, called CU Works Accounting, assists credit unions with many types of accounting functions, from daily processing to the popular “CFO in a Box.”

Smaller credit unions, such as the $10-million Ray FCU, are drawn to CU Works Accounting due to the benefits of economies of scale. It is simply much less expensive to outsource accounting functions than hire staff, CUSN said
