WYOMING, Minn.–CU Recovery and The Loan Service Center has awarded $4,000 in scholarships to its Fall 2018 Collection Academy. Three scholarships were awarded to credit unions based on their submission about how the goals of their collection department would be achieved through their professional development. Recipients will receive Collection Academy tuition, lodging at the host hotel, and will be recognized during the 2.5 day conference.
Scholarship winners include Christy Garza of Pima Federal Credit Union in Tucson, Ariz.; Tori Napier of Tulsa Federal Credit Union in Oklahoma, and Loraine Smith of Code Credit Union in Dayton, Ohio.
