HERNDON, Va.–CU Realty Services, LLC recently recognized Northwest FCU as one of only eight credit unions to reach over $1 million in savings to members through the company's HomeAdvantage program. Over the past 12 years as a participant, NWFCU has saved its members over $4.4 million. Several of the top performing loan officers were recognized at the event for their high number of member registrations and referrals, including Sharon Epperson, Suzanna Famiglietti, and Wendy Leewe.
VP of Mortgage Lending, Joe Talmadge, accepted the award on behalf of Northwest Federal. He thanked the entire mortgage team for their dedication to serving members and promoting the program, saying “The HomeAdvantage program stands out in terms of its effectiveness in helping credit union members achieve their dream of homeownership. Our phenomenal success with the program is an excellent example of Northwest Federal’s commitment to member service.”
The free real estate rebate program gives members the ability to search online for local homes for sale, research neighborhoods, check comparable sales prices in their area and more. If members use an agent in the HomeAdvantage network, they are eligible for a rebate of 20% of their agent's commission every time they buy or sell*. Northwest Federal has helped over 1,100 members buy homes through the program.
