HALIFAX, Nova Scotia–CUA here has opened a new South Park branch designed and built by NewGround.
The new 1,500-square-foot branch opened its doors to deliver a “wow” experience to more than 20,000 members, NewGround said.
The credit union said it is pleased to be one of the first businesses to open its doors in the retail section of the new “Curve” complex.
“Located in a rapidly growing area of Halifax, the branch offers members and potential members to physically experience the credit union’s brand promise of a better way to bank,” NewGround stated. “The new location sets the stage for members to interact with staff in a relaxed environment that encourages knowledge and questions to support CUA’s goal of ‘opening doors to a brighter financial future for everyday people.’ From its open teller concept, to its calming waiting area to bright, airy offices, members can find the services they need and staff have the tools to support them.”
NewGround said a stronger and faster adaptive design approach allowed both organizations to work in harmony to produce a space quickly and efficiently.
“We are proud to be CUA’s partner to design their South Park branch,” said Greg Ward, president at NewGround Canada. “This project stands as a true testament of how NewGround delivers our projects stronger and faster, no matter what circumstances are thrown our way.”
