NAPERVILLE, Ill.–CU Mobile Apps reported it was able to assist two smaller credit union in obtaining federal grants to assist with costs and enable them to provide a mobile app to their members and compete on a level playing field. The two CUs include:

* Chadron Federal Credit Union headquartered in Chadron, Neb., which recently applied and was approved for a grant with the OSCUI (Office of Small Credit Union Initiative).  They were able to obtain the funding necessary and will soon be offering a strong mobile solution to their current and future members. “The grant process was nice and simple,” said Barb Roth, President and CEO of Chadron FCU. “They do a good job of helping small Credit Unions compete in today’s Financial World.  We were excited to work with CU Mobile Apps on the App build with RDC (Remote Deposit Capture) added to it.  The development team at CU Mobile Apps is very helpful and thorough with the building process.”

* Hannibal, Mo.-based Northeast Regional Credit Union was also able to receive grant funding to build their mobile solution with CU Mobile Apps. "Our credit union is very pleased with CU Mobile Apps,” said Tracy Lennox, CEO of Northeast Regional Credit Union. “We recently added several new services and this company was the easiest to work with, by far. Their training was very easy to understand and it took a short time to get our mobile app up and running. The fact that a small credit union like ours can have a mobile app is fantastic. Thank you CUMA for helping us find a way to make it affordable!"
