LAS VEGAS—CU Direct announced its 2017 Best Practices and Diamond Award winners during the company’s Drive ’17 Lending Conference here.
The awards, which have recognized credit unions’ accomplishments in lending for more than 15 years, were presented to six credit unions during the event’s awards luncheon.
A capacity crowd of more than 500 conference attendees were on hand, as four credit unions were acknowledged by CU Direct for their achievements in the areas of lending, business development, and marketing AutoSMART to members. The company also presented its Diamond Award to two credit unions for their overall excellence and success in the lending marketplace in 2016.
CU Direct’s 2017 Best Practice Award winning credit unions are:
- Excellence in Lending (indirect lending): Oregon Community Credit Union (136,363 members, $1.48 billion in assets)
- Excellence in Lending (direct lending): Tucson Federal Credit Union (53,359 members, $398.2 million in assets)
- Business Development: Credit Union of Colorado (110,482 members, $1.3 billion in assets)
- Marketing AutoSMART to Members: Bethpage Federal Credit Union (293,443 members, $6.78 billion in assets)
CU Direct also recognized Service Credit Union (228,792 members, $2.9 billion in assets) and Truity Credit Union (72,449 members, $762.5 million in assets) with the company’s Diamond Award, for the CU’s continued success in advancing its indirect lending programs.
