ATLANTA—CU Capital Market Solutions, a credit union CUSO, has hired William J. King III to serve as Senior Vice President, Loan Participations. He will work in CMS’ Atlanta office.
King will work with CMS credit union clients nationwide to match loan participation sellers with buyers, identifying both consumer and participation loan opportunities. He will help build the USDA guaranteed loan desk at CMS and will also assist in identifying investment candidates for CMS’ proprietary Secondary Capital Fund.
“Bill and I worked together at JP Morgan for many years, and I’m thrilled that he has agreed to come on board and help build our loan participation desk,” said Senior Managing Director Bill Mullally.
King has more than 20 years’ experience in the investment and loan market. In his prior role at JP Morgan, he managed a team of investment advisors that worked with financial institutions and ultra-high net worth families. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
