ATLANTA—CU Capital Market Solutions, a credit union CUSO, announced it has hired Jeremy Colvin to lead its capital markets effort. Colvin will serve as Managing Director and work from CMS’ newly opened office in Summit, N.J.
Colvin had spent the last seven years at Bank of New York Mellon in a number of leadership roles. Most recently, he was managing director, where he led capital markets sales and relationship management. He built BNY Mellon’s Capital Markets Brokered CD platform to its current $10B in annualized issuance. He also shaped the Fixed Income department, enhancing the bank’s value proposition to a global client base.
“Our business continues to evolve and has reached a point where CMS clients demand substantial markets leadership,” CMS CEO Lewis Lester said. “Jeremy's roughly 20 years in the Capital Markets space and vast experience on both sides of the balance sheet make him uniquely qualified to create solutions for our growth-oriented credit union clients.”
Colvin received BNY's Chairman's Circle Award in 2013 and was recognized as the BNY Mellon Global Markets Innovator of the Year in 2012.
“I'm very excited about the opportunity at CMS and my ability to enhance the CUSO’s Capital Markets business during this exciting era of change and growth in the credit union community,” Colvin said.
