Bergstrom Consulting Services Formed To Assist Small- And Medium-Sized CUs

TUCSON, Ariz.— Bergstrom Consulting Services (BCS) has been formed by credit union marketing executive Alan Bergstrom to serve small- and medium-sized credit unions with CMO-level support, the company announced.

“Small- and medium-sized credit unions face significant disadvantages compared to larger institutions with richer resources to recruit and retain seasoned marketing professionals. Two-thirds of credit unions in the U.S. fall into the small- to medium-sized category, yet they share the same marketing demands as their larger counterparts,” Bergstrom said.

“My experience over the years has highlighted the need for small credit unions to be able to compete more effectively against larger credit unions,” said Bergstrom, BCS founder and CEO. “Smaller credit unions are in peril and often feel the only way out is to merge with larger credit unions. They need low-cost access to seasoned and experienced expertise to deliver the same quality and results-oriented marketing that can make a real difference, whether attracting new members or generating increased product/service adoption and usage.”

Bergstrom said BCS was formed to provide cost-effective options by creating marketing campaigns and “compelling” messaging that helps smaller credit unions to achieve their goals and drive meaningful, significant results.

“One of our main offerings is the provision of fractional CMO support for those credit unions looking for more than just one-off project support,” Bergstrom explained.
