LAKEWOOD, Colo.—Aux is reporting it added 12 new clients for its outsourced back-office services in Q1 2022.
“This additional growth comes on the heels of similar brisk sales that added 12 new (Aux) clients in Q4 202. These back-to-back record-breaking quarters reflect sales that are being driven by several factors affecting the credit union industry,” Aux stated.
Added Aux Marketing VP Alan Bergstrom, “The Great Resignation is certainly having a positive effect on our sales, especially in our Accounting Services offering. Credit unions have lost accounting personnel who grew comfortable working from home and who really don’t want to return to the office environment. Credit unions are also getting more comfortable with the notion that many back-office functions, including compliance, can be outsourced to organizations like CUSOs who specialize in these service areas.”
Aux said it has seen credit unions of all sizes affected by current staffing conditions, adding it can quickly step in and assist with back-office support.
‘Quick Turnaround’
“What’s more, Aux clients appreciate not just the quick turnaround, but also economic value of the collaborative CUSO model,” Aux said.
According to Bergstrom, “Not only can we quickly step in and help credit unions with time-critical needs, but most of our employees have years of credit union experience and our bench is deep, so we also provide a service with seasoned talent and offers the expertise and involvement of more than one person for any given function.
“In many cases, we end up helping a credit union save money—freeing up precious resources that can be better spent directly supporting member needs,” he continued. “Why hire staff to perform functions that don’t set you apart from the competition, when you can focus more on what’s really important to what your members want and need?”
