Alaska USA Expands With Cardtronics

HOUSTON–Alaska USA FCU said it is partnering with Cardtronics, Inc., the world's largest retail ATM owner/operator, to provide Alaska USA’s members surcharge-free access to more than 200 Cardtronics-owned and -operated ATMs throughout Washington and in the High Desert area of California.
The $5.6-billion CU has branches throughout Alaska, western Washington and in the High Desert area of California. Alaska USA said it is expanding its ATM footprint through a new ATM branding relationship with Cardtronics that will enable it to brand Cardtronics ATMs in many Walgreens and Safeway locations in Washington and select retailers in California. Under this new relationship, the number of surcharge-free ATMs available to Alaska USA members increases to nearly 400—a doubling of its current footprint.
