ST. LOUIS–Anheuser-Busch Employees Credit Union here is marking its 20th year using the OnBase enterprise information platform.
According to the company, the credit union originally implemented OnBase to eliminate paper and reduce the effort spent processing daily reports, but once it quickly achieved those goals ABECU quickly realized the long-term potential of the solution to become an information hub and connect information throughout the enterprise.
“We started with simple goals – to eliminate paper and reduce the time and money spent processing more than 150 daily reports,” said Stephanie Baker, technical services coordinator at ABECU. “But over the past 20 years, our OnBase solution has become an essential system due to its ability to unify information and help our members achieve financial success. Today, every department within our credit union uses OnBase.”
ABECU’s more recent projects include integrating OnBase with its FISERV core to give employees instant access to member information to complete requests faster. In July, ABECU added e-signature capabilities through the OnBase integration for DocuSign to create fully electronic lending and HR processes.
“The enterprise scalability of OnBase creates unlimited potential for ABECU to realize new efficiencies throughout the organization,” said Ken Malone, vice president of global technical support at Hyland, and one of the first OnBase installers at ABECU in 1996. “It’s been a pleasure working with ABECU for the past 20 years and we’re looking forward to continuing our relationship by helping them provide superior member service.”
