WOODBRIDGE, Va. — COMPASS 4 CUs will provide regulatory compliance support and assistance to District Government Employees Federal Credit Union (DGEFCU), located in Washington, D.C., and Whitefish Credit Union of Whitefish, Mont.
As part of DGEFCU’s new collaboration with COMPASS, the CU will receive unlimited compliance support from COMPASS’ team of dedicated compliance experts, which includes policy, procedure, and disclosure reviews, advertising/marketing/website reviews, risk assessments, independent testing (SAFE Act, ACH, BSA), and more, according to the company.
“The compliance expertise we receive from COMPASS enables our credit union to focus on doing what we do best – serving our members – in a cost-effective way,” stated Carla Decker, President and CEO of DGEFCU.
Whitefish CU will receive unlimited marketing and advertising reviews, as well as general compliance support, the company said.
COMPASS 4 CUs reported it now serves 26 clients, helping protect over $6.2 billion in member assets.
