LONDON–The Edward Filene Credit Union Awards for Performance Excellence Great Britain & Ireland and the Joe Biden Award for the Development Educators of the Year from around the world were presented during a ceremony here.
Elenita San Roque, Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Confederation of Credit Unions opened the Award’s proceedings with a filmed greeting, welcoming the guests to the event.
Honored were:
- Winner of the Biden Award for the Development Educator of the Year from Africa: Lilian Ndegwa, ADE, ACDE from Nairobi, Kenya
- Winner of the Biden Award for the Development Educator of the Year from Asia: Teresa Tao, ACDE from Yunnan, China
- Runner Up of the Biden Award for the Development Educator of the Year from Asia: Dudz Samson, CUDE, PhDE, I-CUDE from the Philippines
