MADISON, Wis.–The World Council of Credit Unions and the Worldwide Foundation is inviting participants to join it March 29-April 3 for a study of the Brazilian credit union system, Sicredi.
“Pull lessons for a sustainable model for credit union collaborative systems, excelling in branding, financial performance and member service,” said WOCCU, noting Sicredi is one of the fastest growing CU systems globally.
Sicredi has created a network of 116 credit unions serving four-million members through 1,575 points of service under a common brand and through common operating systems.
“This engagement study will allow CEO- and senior-level credit union professionals to take a deep-dive into this innovative system and explore lessons learned in compliance, marketing and the overall Sicredi business model,” WOCCU said.
The engagement study will include four days of interaction with Sicredi both at its Porto Alegre headquarters and at two other regional offices in the area.
