ALBANY, N.Y. – Leaders from the National Cooperative Federation of Nepal (NCFN) met with the Credit Union Association of New York here and individual credit unions to discuss common issues.
The NCFN represents approximately 27,000 cooperatives comprised of nearly 4.7 million members throughout Nepal. The CUANY said that while at its headquarters, the group reviewed the basics of the credit union system in the U.S., the different types of charters, credit union trends, important regulations and more. The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, before the Napalese group met with leaders of First New York FCU and CAP COM FCU.
