BRIDGETOWN, Barbados--The Barbados Workers’ Union Co-operative Credit Union is joining with the country’s credit union league to introduce a Registered Education Saving Product (RESP) by the end of 2015.
“We plan to lobby the government to introduce the RESP, an instrument that will allow parents to save actively and deliberately towards their children’s future educational needs,” vice president Sherwin Greenidge told local media.
