EL PASO, Texas–El Paso Area Teachers Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has introduced its first in a new branch design that is more compact and pod-like. The CU introduced the new branch using a virtual ribbon cutting held live on Facebook and Instagram.
According to TFCU, the TFCU Community Self-Service Branch is a small POD-like structure that requires a small footprint that results in limited use of space, energy, and materials, while still allowing members to enjoy a private, secure, and more independent banking experience without having to step into a traditional lobby.
On its website, the credit union said the branch may be smaller, but it still allows members to enjoy a private and independent banking experience without having to step into a traditional lobby.
