TERRE HAUTE, Ind.—Brian Zuber has been named president and CEO of Indiana State University Federal Credit Union, MyWabashValley.com reported.
Zuber will start his new role in early October.
“I am honored to have been selected as the next president and CEO of ISUFCU,” said Zuber. “I look forward to joining the current team and am excited about what we can accomplish together for ISU FCU members.”
Most recently, Zuber was COO at Springfield, Ill.- based Heartland Credit Union. He also held executive positions at Scott State Bank and Staley Credit Union, MyWabashValley.com said.
Zuber takes over for the previous CEO Sam Shanks, who had been with the credit union for more than four decades.
“We are delighted to welcome Brian to the ISUFCU family,” said Randy Jensen, ISUFCU board chair. “While we are sad to see Sam depart after her many years of dedicated service, we are confident that Brian’s leadership, experience, and vision will guide the credit union to continued success and growth.
