ALEXANDRIA, Va.–NCUA’s employees are indicating they are slightly less happy working at the agency now than in the past, according to the newly released “Best Places to Work in the Federal Government” survey.
The survey was released by the Partnership for Public Service.
According the survey, when NCUA staff were polled they gave it an overall score of 75.9, which was down from 79.4 score in 2020. The Partnership for Public Service said the score puts NCUA in ninth place among 25 mid-size government agencies, but still 10 points above the overall government-wide average.
One bright spot: 75.7% of NCUA workers said the agency’s leadership is effective, up from 71.2% in the prior survey.
Meanwhile, 64.3% of NCUA employees said they were satisfied with their pay, down from 72.4% the year before.
The same survey showed the employee score at the CFPB rose to 74.6 in 2021 up from 63.6 in 2020. The change comes after the Bureau changed directors.
