PLANO, Texas–Everyone in credit unions is by now familiar with the “Crashers.” But what about a “Reverse Crash?”
That’s just what the Cornerstone Credit Union Association said it is offering when it holds its Young Professionals Conference in Houston Aug. 2-3. The young professionals, often referred to as the “Crashers,” are to be joined in a “Reverse Crash” by CEOs and other professionals who will be on-site to share their experiences and life’s lessons.
“Typically, CEOs would be unable to attend a YP event, but all that changes at a Reverse Crash,” said the Cornerstone league. “Come experience the next generation of energetic, driven, and motivated credit union professionals and help ignite the leader within each of them. Share your expertise and passion for our movement with rising stars who want to learn from your expertise and build on your legacy. Not only that, CEOs will gain insights from the next generation of credit union professionals, re-energize their passion and inspire a younger generation's passion for the movement.”
The Cornerstone league is offering to cover the CEO's registration fees. Selected CEOs will also take part in the lunch-and-learn panel.
