EL SEGUNDO, Calif.–Xceed Financial CU has awarded $5,000 to a member who won the grand prize as part of its iXceed Fiscal Fitness Challenge.
The member, identified as Christine S., participated in the Challenge that Xceed said was a “fun way to educate its members and engage them in forming good financial habits.”
“Christine and her fellow contestants competed over a six-month period, earning points by working toward financial goals like paying-off debt and increasing savings,” the credit union said.
Participants earned points by attending webinars presented by Xceed Financial on topics ranging from deciphering credit reports, and using home equity, to planning for retirement and paying for college.
“We’re incredibly proud of Christine and what she’s accomplished,” said Xceed Financial’s Chief Marketing Officer Paris Chevalier. “She exceeded both her savings and debt reduction goals.”
“This was very exciting and this program is extremely generous. It is wonderful that Xceed has continued to be a terrific supporter...My family has banked with Xceed for many years; it is truly a top-notch credit union,” said Christine.
