Wyss-Schoenborn Named Central Willamette CEO

ALBANY, Ore.–Stacie Wyss-Schoenborn has been named to succeed Elaine Eastman as president/CEO of the $228-million Central Willamette Community CU.  The promotion is effective Jan. 1.

Eastman is retiring after more than 38 years at CWCCU, while Wyss-Schoenborn has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, most recent as VP with BECU.

Meanwhile, in Manchester, N.H., America’s Credit Union Museum has a new director. Stephanie Smith has been named to succeed Peggy Powell, who is retiring after 15 years. Powell was the first executive director of ACUM, helping to oversee the building of the museum, which is housed inside the original home that was the office of America’s first credit union, St. Mary’s Bank. Smith was previously with at St. Paul’s School in Concord, N.H.
