OAKTON, Va.–The $932-million Wright Patman Congressional FCU has named a new CEO. The credit union has selected Sean Zimmerman to lead the organization, replacing Tony Caccese, the CFO who has been acting as interim CEO.
Zimmerman has more than 25 years’ experience in credit unions and financial services, having most recently served as CFO of Bank-Fund Staff FCU. He previously worked for Tower Federal Credit Union for more than 20 years in a number of positions, including vice president of finance and senior vice president of operations and technology, and also held positions with Republic Bancorp, Westinghouse Electric Corp. and Legg Mason Wood Walker.
“Sean brings a wealth of experience to the table and we are looking forward to the continued growth and success of the credit union under his leadership,” said Board Chair James Kaelin.
