FITCHBURG, Mass.–Workers Credit Union here said it has made a $3.3-million payment to its members as part of its “GiveBack” program. Payments to members were based on the average balance for the year in all eligible deposit and loan accounts.
The $1.5-billion Workers CU has more than 93,000 members.
"Our members really appreciate being recognized, through our GiveBack program, for doing business with a locally based organization,” said Doug Petersen, president and CEO, in a statement on the WCU website. “We saw strong growth again last year, thanks to our members' confidence in us.
