FITCHBURG, Mass.—Workers' Credit Union continues to pay special dividends to members as part of its “GiveBack” program.
Most recently is deposited $30 into member accounts. The GiveBack program was launched in 2014 to mark WCU’s 100th anniversary, when it paid out $2 million to members. The most recent payment represents $2.5 million in funds returned to members.
Workers reported that it has also found a way around IRS regulation that prevented IRA-account holders from receiving bonus payments. Those account-holders are also being included in the GiveBack program.
