WAUSAU, Wis.—The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a woman accused of robbing a branch of Robins Financial Credit Union earlier this week—while accompanied by a small child dressed in a Spider-Man costume, according to 13 WMAZ.
Authorities identified the suspect as Sidney Bryant, who was reportedly dressed in all black, including a hoodie and face mask, when she entered the branch around 9 a.m. The child with her was wearing a black hoodie over a Spider-Man outfit and carrying a matching Spider-Man backpack.
According to a sheriff’s office statement, Bryant handed a teller a note demanding money and claimed to be armed. She fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and the child, leaving in a white Nissan Maxima.
Following the incident, the credit union temporarily closed the branch and posted signs citing an emergency. However, ATM access remained available to customers.
