BOCA RATON, Fla.–While most credit union leaders dread the thought of a core conversion, iTHINK Financial Credit Union is seeking to turn its change in core system into something a little more fun for members.
Calling its project “FutureLand,” the credit union is automatically entering members into a drawing to win a gift card to a popular theme park.
Smoothing the Friction
The promotion is also aimed at smoothing over some of the friction that will be caused by the closure of its call center and branches over a number of days, as well as the fact its online banking will be offline.
Credit and debit cards will not be disrupted.
iTHINK said two members will be randomly chosen and notified by July 21 that they have won. Each winner will receive a $1,000 gift card to one of the following theme parks: Sea World, Universal Studios, or Disney World, of their choice.
