Wisconsin CU Partners With Professional Hockey Team

NEW BERLIN, Wis.–Landmark Credit Union here has entered into a three-year sponsorship deal with the Milwaukee Admirals, a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League and is the affiliate team of the NHL’s Nashville Predators.

Beginning with the 2019-2020 season, all Admirals games and team-affiliated events will be played on the Landmark Credit Union Rink at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena over the duration of the deal, which includes a mutual option for a fourth season potentially running through the 2022-2023 season, the team announced.

Landmark Credit Union will also be the sponsor of the Admirals' smartphone app and the Admirals Pucks for Patriots Program, which consists of purchasing 1,000 game tickets to be used by veterans and active military personnel. In addition, Landmark will have signage throughout the arena, including a ticket window, and have an animated Landmark Lighthouse that will be displayed on the arena's video board following each Admirals home game. 

According to the team, it averaged 5,546 fans per game during its most recent season.

The $4.17-billion Landmark Credit Union has approximately 350,000 members.
