PLANO, Texas—With Independence Day approaching, hundreds of credit union members will be showing their spirit in early July when they draw stars on checks they are depositing via their credit union’s Mobile Capture service.
Those members, from nearly two-dozen credit unions, will be taking part in the “Capture My Spirit” promotion sponsored by Catalyst Corporate Federal Credit Union.
Catalyst Corporate created the special “Capture My Spirit” campaign to help its Mobile Capture user credit unions boost member awareness and usage of their mobile deposit service offerings.
The “Capture My Spirit” promotion, which will be conducted from July 1 through July 7, encourages credit union members to simply draw a star on a check that they are depositing via Mobile Capture. By doing so, they become eligible to win a $100 gift card that will be awarded to a member at each participating credit union.
More than two-dozen credit unions, ranging in asset size from $16 million to more than a $500 million, requested the customizable “Capture My Spirit” marketing materials provided by Catalyst Corporate in the weeks leading up to the promotion.
The campaign mirrors a similar campaign called “Capture My Heart” which was conducted around Valentine’s Day earlier this year.
More than 60 credit unions, with dozens more in the pipeline, are using the Mobile Capture service available through Catalyst Corporate, the company said. The Mobile Capture product allows credit union members to deposit checks anywhere and anytime using “smart” mobile devices.
In addition to the “Capture My Spirit” promotion, Catalyst Corporate also has developed a trio of “virtual marketing kits” to help credit unions boost awareness and usage of their mobile deposit service. The campaigns feature customizable newsletter articles, posters, statement stuffers, web banners and other promotional templates. The comprehensive, professionally designed campaigns will be available beginning in mid-June at no charge to Catalyst Corporate Mobile Capture user credit unions through Catalyst Corporate’s new website.
