MADISON, Wis. – A new white paper from the CUNA Operations Sales & Service Council, “The Role of the Branch Manager in the Branch of the Future,” discusses how traditional branches are under pressure to provide outstanding service to members through both the digital and physical experience.
In the midst of this transformation, the role of the traditional branch manager is also changing—and will play a pivotal role in implementing the new strategies that help the branch and the credit union succeed, the Council said.
The white paper discusses four models for branch transformation, including 1) the cashless branch, 2) ATM pods, 3) interactive teller machines, and 4) the hybrid branch, and how the branch manager’s role changes with each model.
