OMAHA, Neb.–U.P. Connection FCU has named a new CEO.
The $35-million credit union said VP of Lending Janeane Whitney has been named to succeed Jan Kounkel as CEO and president of the organization. Kounkel was with the credit union for more than 25 years.
Whitney has been with U.P. Connection FCU for two years and has more than 35 years’ experience in retail banking.
The credit union has also announced several other promotions. Steve Leddy has been named the new VP of lending, while Gavin Petersen has been promoted from Accounting Manager to VP of Operations.
The credit union has 4,000 members.
