ATLANTA—Sheilah Montgomery has announced that she will retire as president of Credit Union of Atlanta after three years in the position and almost 40 overall in credit unions.
In addition to leading the $69-million CU, Montgomery has been active in numbers credit union organizations, including the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions and the African-American CU Coalition, of which she was a co-founder. A search has been launched for a successor.
