MADISON, Wis.—The World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) said it will host a webinar titled, “Unlock Employee Performance through Psychological Safety and Belonging” on May 31.
The webinar will begin at 1:30 p.m. E.T.
“In today's fast-paced work environment, fostering a culture that promotes psychological safety and a sense of belonging among employees is essential,” said WOCCU. “Drawing on real-world examples and case studies, this session will illustrate how psychological safety and belonging can unlock performance and drive business success.”
What Will be Learned
Throughout the session, WOCCU said attendees will:
- Learn key components of psychological safety, including trust, vulnerability, and open communication
- Gain practical strategies for building a safe environment that encourages team members to share ideas, take risks, and speak up without fear of retribution
- Explore the concept of belonging and how it impacts employee motivation, engagement, and retention
- Discover practical strategies for fostering a sense of community and connection within the workplace, such as team-building activities, shared values, and inclusivity.
Leaving With Tools
“Participants will leave with tools and insights that can be immediately applied within their teams and organizations, leading to improved performance and increased business success,” the World Council said.
The webinar will be led by Alyesha Howitt, director of DEIR with VanCity Credit Union in British Columbia.
