FOND DU LAC, Wis.–As a part of its ongoing Educational Webinar Series, Info-Pro Lender Services’ said its webinar today will focus on how credit unions can “streamline their mortgage release process” by outsourcing those functions.
The free webinar—titled How a Trusted Mortgage Release Partner Reduces Risk, Saves Time and Internal Resources—will be held from 1-2 p.m. CST. To register, click here.
“Credit unions are facing many challenges, from low originations and rising interest rates to difficulty finding qualified staff,” the company said. “These challenges are forcing credit unions to find ways to streamline processes, cut costs, and save staff resources, all while maintaining high levels of compliance.”
Earlier in 2022, Info-Pro Lender Services said it surveyed credit unions across the United States and one common area of consternation and need for improvement that was flagged was “mortgage release”—specifically the mortgage lien release process. Very few credit unions had a process in place they felt adequately processed these mortgage releases in an affective and timely manner, the company stated.
Webinar Leader
The webinar will be led by Info-Pro’s Michelle Steinmetzer, who has more than 20 years of mortgage wholesale operations and vendor servicing management experience. She will share some of her findings related to the mortgage release services industry and ways credit unions can improve this area.
