MADISON, Wis.–Filene is hosting a webinar today to review the results of year two of the Credit Union Innovation Success Study. The webinar will run from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
“Credit unions have traditionally been perceived as less innovative according to consumers when comparing them to larger banks, online banks, and fintechs,” Filene said. “This stigmatization has put pressure on credit unions to focus on flipping the script and creating awareness in the minds of the consumer of their ability to deliver exceptional member experience through innovation.”
Understanding the Importance
Filene said it understands how important the issue is, which is why it continues to lead the Credit Union Innovation Success Study in partnership with Rockbridge Associates. It is also the reason the organization has surveyed credit union members on how they perceive the innovativeness of the credit union industry, Filene said.
“Beyond sharing if credit unions have moved the needle on innovation we'll also share if there is a connection between innovation and member loyalty,” Filene stated.
The webinar will be led by Gina Woodall, president of Rockbridge Associates, and Ben Maxim, chief digital strategy and innovation officer with Michigan State University FCU. It will be hosted by Staci Duros, research manager with Filene.
