MADISON, Wis.—CUES has opened up voting to determine who will advance to the Top 15 in its Next Top Credit Union Exec challenge.
Nineteen young, emerging leaders from within the credit union industry created video applications to compete for 2017 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec honor, powered by Currency and in partnership with DDJ Myers.
Credit union execs can now vote at www.nexttopcreditunionexec.com through July 10 at 3:00 p.m. ET. The 10 applicants with the most votes will have the opportunity to continue in the competition, and a special judging committee will add five additional applicants to form the Top 15.
Members of the Top 15 will create another blog post about their project, and each of the Top 15 will also receive a remote coaching session with DDJ Myers.
A second judging panel will evaluate and score the Top 15 based on their original application videos, their blog posts and the value their projects bring to their credit unions and to the industry. These results will be tabulated and the five highest-ranking applicants will be named Finalists, CUES said.
The five Finalists will win additional coaching sessions and registration, accommodations and airfare to CUES' CEO/Executive Team Network (www.cues.org/cnet) in Las Vegas, Oct. 10-12, 2017, a prize package valued at $6,000. During the conference, the Finalists will face off for the grand prize, a CUES educational package valued at $20,000, and the honor of being named 2017 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec.
