LOS ANGELES–The World Young Credit Union Professionals said it will host a WYCUP Virtual Celebration on Oct. 13.
“2020 has been a challenging year – so let’s celebrate some good news for a change!” WYCUP said. “Join us as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of World Council’s Young Credit Union Professionals program–WYCUP – 20 years engaging, inspiring and networking young professionals around the world.”
WYCUP noted it began as an international scholarship program to raise the voice of young leaders across the credit union sector, and over the years it has expanded engagement and professional development globally.
“Today we represent a global community of young professionals who recognize the potential for financial cooperatives to positively impact the world,” said WYCUP, which is overseen by the World Council of Credit Unions.
Given the international nature of the meeting, the times for the meeting are: 9:00 Los Angeles (PDT), 10:00 Denver/Calgary (MDT), 11:00 Chicago (CDT), 12:00 Toronto/New York (EDT), 17:00 London, and 19:00 Nairobi.
