WYCUP To Host Three-Day Virtual Forum

MADISON, Wis.–The World Council Young Professionals (WYCUP) will host a Virtual Forum from July 22-24.

The organization called it “the international event of the year for young credit union professionals around the globe.”

According to WOCCU, the sessions will include:

  • Global Relevance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. “This session will discuss the ever-important topic of DEI by focusing on the global perspective of how we can better advocate for humans, institutionalize inclusion and ensure equities to all our member communities. You will hear from global friends and experts like WOCCU President and CEO Brian Branch, WOCCU Executive Vice President Paul Treinen, CU Solutions Group Chief Strategy Officer Brandi Stankovic and several other credit union professionals and WYCUP alumni.”
  • Changing the World Through Youth Engagement. “Our 2019 WYCUP Scholarship winners will talk about lessons learned, how WYCUP has impacted their journey and their plans for the future. We will also hear from WOCCU Program Manager for Member Services Thom Belekevich about how global credit unions are creating member engagement through youth.”
  • Leading Forward Through Adversity. “During this time of immense change, credit unions need strong, logical and calm voices to navigate forward. In this session led by eLeadership Academy’s Sandra McDowell, an expert in the applied neuroscience of leadership, our young credit union professionals will learn why fear impairs the brain, and how to refocus to boost positive impact and well-being. We will discuss how to RESET your mind and REFRAME your focus on the most productive actions you can take to benefit you and you and your team.”
