MADISON, Wis.–The World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) will host a webinar on Feb. 22 titled, “Fostering True Inclusion for Maximum Impact.”
The webinar will begin at 11 a.m. ET.
“This interactive workshop will provide an in depth understanding of the behaviors that define true inclusion,” WOCCU said. “In examining pseudo inclusion concepts such as assimilation and differentiation, participants will understand how to separate true inclusion from other behaviors. We will also explore behaviors that foster exclusion. By comparing and contrasting these concepts, participants will develop a greater awareness of what it truly means to act inclusively.”
According to WOCCU, session takeaways will include:
- Understanding the differences between inclusion, exclusion, assimilation and differentiation.
- Learning how a focus on belongingness and uniqueness can lead to a stronger awareness of true inclusion.
“This 90-minute workshop-webinar will be highly interactive, including breakout sessions and poll questions, so come ready to participate,” stated WOCCU.
The webinar will be led by Tracie Daniels, president of Synergy Consulting.
