WOCCU to Host Webinar Today on ‘Credit Unions in the Digital Age’

MADISON, Wis.–The World Council of Credit Unions will host a webinar today titled, “Credit Unions in the Digital Age.” The event will begin at 11 a.m. ET.

“The average person is spending more than half (8+) of their waking hours online, and that number goes higher the younger the demographic is,” the World Council said. “The world has changed dramatically over the last 10 years and the need for more effective, trackable, and measurable digital engagement was accelerated by the pandemic. Many credit unions are behind the curve on adopting modern marketing strategies that would aid their growth and help them appeal to a broader (and younger) prospect pool.”

WOCCU said the webinar will feature a brief presentation regarding the various digital channels available to credit unions and then a panel discussion from industry professionals who have taken steps to incorporate digital strategies into their marketing plans.

The Discussion

The discussion will focus on the successes, failures, results, and the data that can be obtained with this kind of marketing, leaving attendees with a “head full of ideas for how you can level up your credit union's marketing.”

Speaking to the webinar will be Jeff Rose, director of enterprise partnerships with Feathr, Anita Stefanovsky, marketing director with Frankenmuth CU, and Amber Magee, SVP-marketing and member experience with First Community Credit Union.
