MADISON, Wis.–The World Council of Credit Unions has released a new mobile phone app designed to connect individuals around the world with the Credit Union Difference.
According to WOCCU, the app allows users to create an individual profile and enables them to post questions, updates, news, pictures and also link to their social media accounts to encourage global networking. There are topic channels on specific challenges to the global credit union movement to enable a more focused discussion.
"We are very excited about the potential of the app to connect people globally and serve as a resource for people helping people in the credit union movement," WOCCU's William Harris said in a statement.
