MADISON, Wis.— World Council of Credit Unions has created a new alumni network for its World Council of Young Credit Union People (WYCUP) program.
The new network will offer international peer-to-peer engagement opportunities to past and current participants. The official launch will take place at the World Credit Union Conference in Denver in July.
Led by a globally focused working group, WOCCDU said the WYCUP alumni network's goals are to:
- Provide young professionals with leadership development opportunities to further their commitment to credit unions.
- Strengthen the global movement's capacity to serve members from Generation Y.
The working group managing the new network includes Robin Blythe of Libro Credit Union; Caroline Domanski of No.1 CooperPot CU, Christopher Morris of the National CU Foundation; Dorwin Manzano of Caribbean Development Education, Trinidad and Tobago; Emma Avery of Greater Building Society; Ben Janzen of Mennonite Savings CU, and Lili Tangwall of the World Council.
