WINTER PARK, Fla.–VyStar Credit Union continues to build its presence in Orange County, Florida after purchasing a 6,877-square-foot branch here from Truist Bank.
According to the Jacksonville Business Journal, the Jacksonville-based VyStar paid $7 million for the property, which includes a 1.49 acre stie. build in Orange County.
The branch became available following the merger of BB&T and SunTrust Bank, which created Truist and which is now looking to pare down overlapping branches in certain markets.
VyStar, which has 64 branches, has other locations in Central Florida, but the new branch is its first in Winter Park, according to the Business Journal.
