Voting Opens For Love My Credit Union Campaign

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.–Public voting has opened in the second annual “Love My Credit Union Campaign,” with $122,500 up for grabs.

Sponsored by CU Solutions Group and CUNA, the campaign seeks to celebrate the industry's unique community connections and the support that credit unions provide to local charities across the country by letting voters pick their favorite videos submitted by credit unions on behalf of charities.

Based upon the most number of public votes, CU Solutions Group and CUNA will award monthly cash donations to the local charities of choice on behalf of their participating credit unions or credit union support organizations.

The campaign runs from Oct. 1 through Dec. 16, 2016 and will award $122,500 in cash donations to a variety of charities nationwide.

In the campaign’s first year in 2015, 132 credit unions across 35 states submitted videos and more than 435,000 votes were cast by the public to select their favorites. Some $105,000 was donated to local charities on behalf of nine winning credit unions.
